Welcome back to the Evergreen Farm blog! Is it just us, or does the air on Camano Island feel just a little bit brighter these past few weeks? ☀️ There is so much happening here at the farm, and it is all centered around one of our favorite things: connecting with this incredible community we call home. 🏠💖

The Hunt Was On: Our First Great Northwest Glass Quest! 🔍💎

This February, we were absolutely thrilled to participate in the Great Northwest Glass Quest for the very first time. What an incredible experience! It was so rewarding to see so many of you embracing the adventure, exploring the stunning local parks of Camano Island and Stanwood. It’s hard to beat the simple magic of wandering through our local woodlands, looking for that hidden treasure! 🌲✨

A huge thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for all their hard work organizing this truly unique event that brings our entire region together. We were especially excited about the Kind Quester program this year. This event reminds us what makes Stanwood and Camano such special places to live and grow. 🤝🌾

Meet the Treasure Hunters! 🏆

Winner winner!!! 🥳 Shelby and her husband from Arlington found the last clue ball! Shelby has spent many, MANY hours hunting over the years and it has finally paid off. Shelby and her husband would like to make a "baby quester" of their own (second generation island quests incoming!) so y’all send them all the well wishes and blessings to grow their family! 👣✨

Spring Has (Finally!) Sprung on Camano! 🌱🌼

Speaking of incredible signs of resilience and joy, you just can’t walk around Evergreen Farm these days without being reminded that spring has officially arrived! It started slowly, but suddenly, the landscape is exploding with color. 🌈

Our beloved daffodils are just beginning their display, and we are starting to see other spring bulbs poking through the soil. This is only the beginning! 🌷 The flower season is ramping up, and we are expecting blooming joy here at the farm every single day until well into the autumn. We can’t wait to share the colors of the season with all of you. 🌻🧺

🔥 HUGE Event This Weekend: Evergreen Farm will participate in Stanwood's Shortest Parade! ☘️

Join us this weekend for KISW's event: Stanwood's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade presented by an amazing local favorite: SAAL Brewing Company.

Evergreen Farm will be represented in full, festive force. Our beloved Eagle will be there in usual, enthusiastic form! 🦅 We’ll also be tossing out some fun St. Patrick’s Day surprises (which may include shamrock pins or slap bracelets) to parade-goers as we go, so make sure you find a spot along the short-but-mighty route and cheer us on! 🌈🍀

You never know what to expect with Evergreen Farm. There could even be things such as an Oompa Loompa riding a leprechaun playing a bugle... 🎩🎺You never know.

Looking Ahead: Farm Stand Opening & A Special Community Project 🚜✨

While we are celebrating spring now, we are also looking forward to a bright, busy summer! ☀️

We have a very exciting community service project we have been working on that we are dying to share with you. We can't say too much quite yet, except that we will have more to share SOON.  So, you’ll have to stay tuned! Keep an eye on the blog and our Instagram page—we'll be dropping more details very soon, and we would love for you to get involved! 🤝❤️

And finally, the moment you’ve all been asking about... YES! The Farm Stand opens SOON! 🍓🍯

Get ready to stock up on farm-grown products, beautiful spring plants, gorgeous art, and so much more. Mark your calendars for opening day on Friday, May 8th!
