Get Ready! Evergreen Farmstand Grand Opening & Community Happenings
The sun is staying out longer, the soil is warming up, and things are moving fast here at Evergreen Farm. We are officially in high gear preparing for our Farmstand Grand Opening on May 8th! It feels like it’s just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back for the 2026 season.
In the Fields and Under the Sun

Right now, our days are a blur of green. We are planting fruits, veggies, and herbs as fast as our hands can move, ensuring the stand is stocked with the freshest local starts and produce. We are also busy
prepping our beloved dahlias to move out into the field.
Speaking of dahlias, if you’re looking to add some color to your own garden, we have a Dahlia Tuber Dividing Class coming up on May 4th @5:30 at the South Camano Grange! Keep an eye on our Instagram for more Evergreen Farm event details.

Supporting Our Roots: Health & Wealth Mondays at the Grange April - October
Speaking of the Grange, while we’ve been busy in the dirt, we’ve also been spending a lot of time at the South Camano Grange. We believe that a strong farm depends on a strong community, and that’s why we are thrilled to host Health and Wealth Mondays every week!
Why "Health and Wealth"? At Evergreen Farm, we want to uplift our neighbors. Every Monday during farm stand season, we offer programming designed to improve your body (Health) and your mind (Wealth).
Move Your Body: Join us for Zumba every Monday from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM in the Main Hall during farm stand season (til October 1st). (Note: When our awesome instructor takes a summer break, we’ll be swapping in Yoga sessions!)
Feed Your Mind: We host rotating 'wealth of the mind' lectures and classes in the Dining Hall. We’ve already had some incredible sessions, including a deep dive into Grange history and an interactive demonstration of wearable exoskeleton tech by the Grange Vice President, Megan Yarbrough.
What’s Next? We have a packed schedule of future talks, including:

Dahlia Tuber dividing - May 4th
Another Round of the exoskeleton demo which was a crowd favorite! - May 11th
Safe and practical uses for AI technology (Date TBD)
Financial health workshops with local experts (Date TBD)
Sourdough bread and starter tutorials (Date TBD)
...and much more!
The Details:
Suggested Donation: $10 for Zumba and typically $10 for Dining Hall talks (varies by topic).
The Cause: 100% of proceeds go toward the Grange Building and Maintenance Fund. Your attendance helps us fund vital projects like our new porch, kitchen updates, and bathroom renovations.
Want to speak? If you have a skill or topic you’d like to share with the community, contact us!
A Major Announcement: The Pop-Up Food Bank

We are honored to announce a new partnership for the South end of the island. Starting May 14th, the Stanwood Camano Food Bank will host a pop-up food bank every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 2-3pm at the South Camano Grange! We are so proud to help bring this essential service closer to home. Please help us spread the
word to your friends and neighbors.
Save the Date: May 8th!
As a final reminder, the Evergreen Farmstand opens May 8th! We will be fully stocked with:
Lavender plants and handmade lavender products.
Dahlia tubers for your spring planting.
Original Art: Browse unique pottery, stone-caged jewelry, and paintings—all handcrafted right here by your Evergreen Farm farmers.
Fresh Eggs: Our girls are happily laying again! The egg stand will be out most Fridays.

For the most up-to-the-minute updates on what’s in the stand or when the eggs are ready, follow us on Instagram. If you have questions about the farm, the stand, or Grange events, feel free to drop us an email.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We truly believe 2026 is going to be our best year yet!
